Booking a Consultation

We will invite you to attend one of the three practices at a convenient time. Our practices are located in quiet & appropriate locations close to public transport or with ample parking.
You will be seen by a fully licensed, registered (The Trichological Society - http://www.hairscientists.org) trichologist.
At consultation we will discuss the many aspects of your current health and lifestyle which may contribute to your condition. Microscopic hair analysis may be conducted.
Prior to consultation we may ask that you refrain from washing your hair for 48 hours. This will prevent the loss of vital evidence during diagnosis. Those with hair loss conditions will be asked to collect hairs each day that are shed.
We will make every effort to diagnose your condition on the day (if appropriate) offering treatment if applicable. It may be necessary for further tests to be completed to confirm diagnosis. Please note, not all conditions are treatable even though some would suggest this.
If we can treat you we will fully explain what is involved. Treatment on first visit is included in the consultation fee of £75. Follow up visits range from £32.50 £42.50.
Most treatment is conducted on site. This enables the trichologist to monitor treatment over time. Keeping the cost down to a minimum to the patient. We may suggest a shampoo or cream based on your condition which may be used at home to aid recovery.
