Welcome to
THE STEVENS TRICHOLOGY PRACTICES HISTORY
The first trichology practice was founded at Seven Kings in West Essex by Mr Barry Stevens (trichologist) in 1964. The area now comes within the territory served by the Gidea Park practice.
The current trichology practices are now situated at:
BENFLEET PRACTICE • GIDEA PARK PRACTICE • LONDON PRACTICE
These busy practices provide care for patients of all ages suffering the many scalp and hair diseases & conditions which cause distress.
Advice is available for all hair loss and scalp conditions (see our 'Treatments' page). We seek to provide a friendly and relaxed environment and dispense a high level of care and attention at a reasonable cost to the patient.
The population of Essex and London has been served in this way for four decades.
The practice patient list includes second and third generations of some earlier patients.
The Practices have seen well over 10,000 patients during their existence.
Please note that we cannot offer any diagnosis or recommendation as to treatment without seeing the patient first.
The practices are sometimes used as teaching centres for the clinical experience stage of the Trichological Society's Academic Course. Trainee Trichologists are sometimes in attendance. Each is a dedicated individual with a high level of intellect and professionalism.
Many students travel considerable distances, occasionally from outside the UK to study the clinical disciplines of trichology.
